Working as a full time wedding photographer in the Maritimes for the past ten years, I’ve been to a LOT of weddings.

I’ve met a LOT of local vendors (wedding venues, hair stylists and make-up artists, florists, bridal shops, event coordinators, etc.) from the East Coast. And in my spare time, I like to keep my ‘finger on the pulse’ of the industry.

In other words, I totally Fan Girl wedding professionals. ALL the TIME.

On my wedding gallery page you can find my list of preferred vendors – ones I have worked with in the past and really enjoyed, and that my bride’s were happy with.

This is not that. These are some of my most favourite, drool-worthy, drop your jaw gorgeous vendors from right here on the East Coast of Canada. Some are located close to me in the Moncton area, but others are scattered across the Atlantic provinces.

Enjoy this sweet vendors list. If you want to hear about some other vendors, or want to tell me about some, then please feel free to drop me a note in the comments section or send me an email from my contact page. Cheers!

Oh Dina!

Whatever your wedding budget is, there’s always room for flowers in your hair! Flowers everywhere. Oh Dina! is the creation of Nicole McInnis of Dartmouth Nova Scotia. Her beautiful creations bring a sense of natural beauty to your day. From flower crowns, floral hair pins, boutonnieres, bridal bouquets, to bridal floral rings. I love everything she makes and wish I could buy it all for myself.

You should especially have a look at those bridal rings. Such an awesome new take on the traditional bouquet!

Whether you just need a few rentals, want some help setting up, or want the full out luxury service, Chantilly Lace Events has got you covered. These ladies have the experience and passion that you want for your wedding day.

Also their name includes the word Lace, so I’m partial 😉

In case you failed to notice, macrame is TOTALLY trending right now! And though I’ve always stayed away from trends and just done my own thing, lately all the boho chic trends just happen to be lining up with my forever tastes.

So let’s just embrace it all! Sophie from Sophie’s What Knots is local AND one of the most amazing macrame artists I have ever seen! So why not consider one for a ceremony backdrop or the reception head table?

Theresa (aka Miss Foxine) is based in Halifax NS, and OMgosh! she does it all! From hand crafted jewellery, rich in heirloom gypsy golds, to custom made couture wedding gowns made to measure! If my husband and I ever get married again (to each other of course) I will definitely be making use of Miss Foxine! I love everything she does!
