I’m a very decisive person. Can’t help it, I was born this way. Honestly though, it is a trait in myself that I am proud of, and that I find quite useful. When I see something I like, I know that I like it.

Some men are the same. And I think every bride wants to feel pursued by her groom. Still, most prospective grooms would have given up after 7 years in the friend zone. Not this groom.

Know What you Want

I felt so blessed to be asked to photographer this wedding, because “it was a long time coming”. When I first spoke with this extremely cute couple, they know what they wanted for photos. They wanted rocky shores for the Cape Enrage loving groom, they wanted forest, and they wanted fields. The problem was, neither of them lived anywhere near the wedding venue. So it was up to me to find the perfect location. Luckily, location scouting is something I love doing! So when I found a location in Shediac Cape that ticked off all the boxes, I was confident sharing it with the intendeds.

And it was perfect. The whole day. The bride was radiant and the groom smile wider and laughed freer than he ever had. The best-man made every one cry. And in the groom’s own words to his bride “You were worth the wait”.

It just goes to show that it’s worth it to know your mind and to wait for what you want.
