Maybe it's more like a secret weapon - when I'm shooting (engagements, families, portraits) I always bring along a bluetooth speaker and I play music.
.
I have a few different playlists that I've curated and downloaded from Spotify, mostly cinematic or ambiant or calm tunes - though sometimes clients request something like 80's pop songs!
.
Not only does music set the scene and mood for the images, it also helps people feel more relaxed and act more naturally in front of the camera. Which means better photos, and more authentic memories with them.
