Almost two weeks since my surgery and life is back

Almost two weeks since my surgery and life is back to normal for the most part. I'm trying to 'bask in the glow of christmas cheer' while avoiding that existential dread that all moms must feel when it's up to us to buy all the gifts, make all the food, decorate like interior designers, juggle all the schedules of the parties and performances, balances the budget, and run a business. Feeling super nostalgic for those days when Christmas was as hard as showing up.
Can anyone else relate?

I have had four babies. Being pregnant was one of those profound, mystical, life changing times in my life - and yet the memories can be sparse and fuzzy.
I took photos of myself. I wish I had paid someone else to do it for me.
I didn't know then what I know now.
.
Seems like a lot of bellies and babies this fall, and I'm here for it all.
